Data Protection Statement from Golding Capital Partners GmbH
Golding Capital Partners GmbH, (hereafter known as: GCP) is pleased that you are visiting our website. We attach great importance to data protection and data security in the use of our website. We therefore undertake to protect your privacy and treat your data in confidence. In the following we would like to tell you which of your personal data we record during your visit to our website and for what purposes they are used. As changes in legislation or our internal processes may make it necessary to modify this data protection statement we would ask you to read its contents regularly.
What are personal data?
Personal data are items of information that can be used to find out about your personal or factual circumstances. Information that does not allow us to make a connection to you (or only with a disproportionate effort) is not personal data.
Recording, processing and use of personal data
To ensure the security of the system, when you visit our websites our web-server temporarily records the IP address of the client computer, the client OS and the client browser, as well as what is known as the "referrer", i.e. the website from which you visit us.
Other personal data such as your name, address, telephone number or email address are not recorded unless you provide them voluntarily, e.g. as part of a request for information. Personal data recorded during a visit to the GCP websites are processed exclusively in accordance with the legal regulations.
We use your personal data to compile statistics and carry out pseudonymised analyses. Only if you have given us your prior consent do we also use the data for product-related surveys and advertising purposes, but only to the extent necessary in every individual case. We will only disclose data to government agencies if required to do so by law. Our employees are obliged to treat all data confidentially.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies"; text files that are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is generally sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there. This website only uses Google Analytics with the "_anonymizelp()" code, which ensures that Google will abbreviate the IP address within the member states of the European Union or other signatories of the treaty creating the European Economic Area, to prevent it being directly attributed to a particular individual. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. Google will use this information on our behalf to analyse your use of this website, to compile reports on website activities for us and to provide us with additional services in connection with website use and internet use. The IP address communicated by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google. You can adjust the settings on your browser software to prevent cookies being installed, but we point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. In addition you can prevent the data generated by the cookie relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) being sent to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the following browser plug-in:
Hyperlinks to external websites
Our website contains hyperlinks to websites of other providers. By clicking on them you are transferred directly from our website to the other provider's website. This is visible by the change of URL. We accept no responsibility for the handling of your data on these external websites, because we have no control over whether these companies comply with data protection regulations. Please find out how these companies handle your personal data directly by looking at their websites.
When you visit and use our website our server stores certain protocol information about this procedure in a file. We will only use these data sets for statistical purposes, to improve the website, for reasons of system security (e.g. fraud prevention) and for error diagnosis.
To the extent that we gather personal data we store it on specially protected servers. Access to it is restricted to a few, specially authorised individuals who are involved with technical, commercial or editorial aspects of the website.
To prevent the loss or misuse of data stored at GCP we take extensive technical and operating precautions, which are regularly reviewed and updated in line with technological developments.
We must nonetheless point out that the structure of the internet means that data protection regulations and the security measures described above may not be respected by third parties outside our control. In particular data transmitted in unencrypted form – even by email – can be read by third parties. This is something over which we have no technical control. It is your responsibility to protect the data you provide against misuse, by means of encryption or otherwise.
