Partner and CFO, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2023 and leads the Finance division. He has fifteen years of management experience in the finance industry coupled with proven transformation expertise.

Before joining Golding, he was responsible for the strategic and operational transformation of the investment house as CFO/COO of BayernInvest, among others. As head of strategy at BayernLB, he accompanied the realignment of the banking group after the financial market crisis for more than half a decade. Furthermore, Dr. Braun has ten years of corporate governance experience as a member of supervisory and administrative boards as well as management committees in Germany and Luxembourg.
 
He holds a doctorate in merger control law from the University of Augsburg.
