    Managing Partner

    Jeremy Golding

    a British national, is Founder and Managing Director of Golding Capital Partners based in Munich. Since 1999 he has grown Golding Capital Partners to become one of Germany’s leading investment managers for private equity fund of funds investments.

    Jeremy Golding looks back on a 20-year international career with leading multinational companies. Mr Golding has lived and worked in Germany, US, France, UK and the Middle East, holding management positions with General Electric, GE International, GE Capital, and the Boston Consulting Group. He holds an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.

    Managing Partner

    Andreas Rizos

    Managing Partner, Head of Finance and Operations, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2008.

    He has more than 12 years experience in the field of Finance and Private Equity, most of which he gained at international audit companies, as well as with a growth capital firm as Investment Manager. Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Rizos worked in Transaction Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers. As Senior Manager, he coordinated the due diligence process on multiple buyout transactions, primarily for large investment firm clients.

    Mr Rizos holds a business degree with honors from Julius-Maximilians-Universität in Würzburg with focus on auditing, taxation and capital market theory. Moreover he has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2005.

    Managing Partner

    Hubertus Theile-Ochel

    Managing Partner at Golding Capital Partners, joined the company in 2000. Mr Theile-Ochel is responsible for all Sales activities and is member of the Investment Committee. 

    Mr Theile-Ochel worked as a consultant for A.T. Kearney's Munich office for four years, leading strategy and restructuring projects in numerous European countries and a variety of sectors. Before that, he completed an apprenticeship at the Deutsche Bank and worked for BMW in Pretoria (South Africa) and for Bain & Company in Munich in the areas of market analysis and research.

    He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich.

    Partner, Head of Buyout

    Daniel Boege

    Partner and Head of Buyout of Golding Capital Partners, joined the company in 2011. He is responsible for the identification, analysis, due diligence and selection of buyout funds.

    Before joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Boege gained experience as an investment professional in private equity firms over 10 years. During this time he worked for Permira in Frankfurt and Vestar Capital Partners in Munich and was involved in various national and international transactions.

    Mr Boege earned a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Management, with distinction, from the London School of Economics. He also holds an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau.

    Partner, Head of Structuring

    Manuel Gruber

    Partner and Head of Structuring, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2006 and is responsible for the product structuring team. Product structuring includes the legal and tax design of the investment programs as well as their financial and economical structuring.

    During his previous professional career Mr Gruber gained over ten years of experience in tax advisory and auditing. Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, he worked for Ernst & Young in the tax structuring division for institutional closed-end funds. He also holds extensive experience in the fields of legal and financial due diligence of international financial transactions. 

    Mr Gruber completed studies to achieve an MBA at Danube University. Besides holding certificates in tax and international accounting, he accomplished the CEFA/CIIA exam as financial analyst.

    Partner, Chief Investment Officer (CIO)

    Dr. Matthias Reicherter

    Partner and CIO, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2011. In his role he has overall responsibility for oversight and direction of Golding’s investment portfolio across the asset classes, Private Equity, Private Debt and Infrastructure.

    Dr. Reicherter looks back on more than 15 years of investment experience, which he gained working internationally for banks and investment organizations as well as in his prior role as Head of Infrastructure at Golding Capital Partners. Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Dr. Reicherter was a Director with Barclays Private Equity and Infrastructure Funds in London, as well as with DEPFA Bank plc in London and Dublin, were he focused on the acquisition, financing and asset management of infrastructure companies in Europe and North America.

    Dr. Reicherter graduated in Economics from the University of Augsburg and completed a doctorate in Corporate Finance at the University of Greifswald.

    Managing Director, Head of Private Debt

    Abhik Das

    Managing Director and Head of Private Debt, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2018. He is responsible for the selection, execution and monitoring of private debt fund investments and co-investments, as well as the portfolio management thereafter.

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Das spent five and a half years at BlueBay Asset Management in London, where he was responsible for primary financings for medium-sized businesses across Europe. As a Partner within BlueBay’s Private Debt Group, he was most recently focused on new investments in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Mr Das previously spent nearly three years at Macquarie in the Principal Finance division, where he was responsible for a wide range of investments across the capital structure of European businesses. Prior to that, he worked in the Leveraged Finance team at Lehman Brothers and Nomura in London. He started his career at Credit Suisse in Zurich in various areas of the Swiss investment banking franchise.

    Mr Das graduated from the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland with an M.A. in Law and Economics. He also holds a dual CEMS Master in International Management degree (CEMS MIM) from both ESADE Barcelona and the University of St.Gallen.

    Managing Director

    Dirk Homberg

    Managing Director, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2008 as part of the Institutional Sales team and is primarily responsible for saving banks.

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Homberg worked in sales and key account management for a software company. Earlier positions included working in the area of marketing and sales in the banking and consumer goods industry.

    Mr Homberg studied Business Administration at the University of Bayreuth and the University of Guadalajara, Mexico with a focus on finance, marketing and Spanish and is a member of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association®.

    Managing Director, Co-Head Infrastructure

    Fabian Pötter

    Managing Director and Co-Head Infrastructure, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2012. He is responsible for the identification, analysis, due diligence and selection of infrastructure funds and the management of the infrastructure funds portfolio.

    Mr Pötter gained experience in infrastructure project finance and the structuring of renewable energy portfolio transactions for institutional investors both at UniCredit and Bank Vontobel. Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Pötter worked for REpower Systems and was responsible for equity investments in wind farm projects as well as advising project developers on the financial structuring of power generation projects.

    Fabian Pötter graduated from the University of Mannheim and holds a Diploma in Business Administration.

    Managing Director

    Marco Sedlmayr

    Managing Director, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2018 as part of the Institutional Sales team and is Head of Sales for Insurance and VAG clients.

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Sedlmayr worked for Allianz Global Investors in Munich and Frankfurt since 2014, where he covered insurers and pension funds within German speaking regions. As a member of the EMEA Insurance Business Development Team, he was focused on the team’s formation and also on the development and positioning of investment solutions to institutional clients in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Mr Sedlmayr has more than 13 years of experience in covering institutional clients in the fields of asset management and auditing.

    Mr Sedlmayr started his career in the insurance audit section at KPMG in Munich before he took over as Executive Assistant to the Global Head of Insurance. Furthermore, he worked within the Institutional Sales & Relationship Management at J.P. Morgan in Frankfurt as well as for Crédit Agricole Group in Munich.

    Mr Sedlmayr holds a business degree with honors from the University of Applied Sciences in Landshut and the Sobey School of Business of Saint Mary’s University in Halifax (Canada) with a focus on accounting & finance.

    Christian Schnabel

    Managing Director, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2008. He is responsible for investment controlling and fund accounting across all asset classes. In addition, he serves a key account manager for individual administration mandates.

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Schnabel spent four years at KPMG, performing audits on banks, investment companies and mutual funds. 

    Mr Schnabel holds a business degree with distinction in Banking and Financial Management from the University of Cooperative Education Ravensburg and is a CFA charterholder.

    Jakob Schramm

    Managing Director and Head of US, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2004 and is responsible for fund selection and monitoring.

    Mr Schramm holds a graduate degree in Economics from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and is a CFA charterholder. During his studies he worked for the ifo Institute for Economic Research on research and analysis.

    Managing Director, Co-Head Infrastructure

    Bernd Schumacher

    Managing Director and Co-Head Infrastructure, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2016. He is responsible for the identification and execution of infrastructure fund- and co-investments as well as the portfolio management thereafter. 

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Schumacher worked eight years for Infracapital in London and five years for KPMG in London and Munich. At Infracapital, Mr Schumacher executed numerous M&A transactions in the infrastructure sector and represented the Company as Director of the board of several portfolio companies. During his time with KPMG, he worked on a variety of international financial due diligences for Private Equity Funds and Industrial Companies.

    Mr Schumacher studied at the University of Cooperative Education Stuttgart and gained an MBA from INSEAD in 2007. Furthermore Mr Schumacher is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA).

    Wiebke Antony

    Management Assistant, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2008.

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mrs Antony worked as office manager and assistant to the CEO for three years altogether.

    After studies in Saarbrücken, Geneva and Granada, Mrs Antony completed her diploma in translation for French, Spanish and English.

    Thorsten Birke

    Director, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2013 and is responsible for institutional sales to domestic and international insurance companies and pension funds.

    He has more than ten years experience in capital markets which he gained at banks as well as financial services firms in Munich, Frankfurt and New York. Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, he worked at UBS for nine years in Frankfurt and Munich. In his last position he advised clients as product specialist on traditional and Alternative Investments.

    Mr Birke holds a degree in Economics from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich as well as the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst certification.

    Mrs Blum holds a degree in Management Economics, specialising in taxation and accounting from the University of Applied Sciences in Nordhausen.

    Lutz Boxberger

    Director, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2017 in the Structuring team. He is responsible for the structuring of Golding Capital Partners' investment products from a legal and tax perspective, as well as for the due diligence of the investment structures.

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, he worked more than a decade with law firms in the fields of tax and supervisory law, most recently as Counsel in the International Funds Department of King & Wood Mallesons LLP (formerly SJ Berwin LLP) with a particular focus on fund formation. In addition to advising alternative asset fund managers on tax and investment regulatory aspects in respect of fund formation his focus was on advising investors with regard to fund investments.

    Mr Boxberger studied law at the universities of Mainz and Leicester, UK and completed his legal clerkship in Wiesbaden, Frankfurt and New York. Prior to his studies, Mr Boxberger received a Diplom-Finanzwirt FH from the Government School of the Hessian tax administration. He has been a German qualified lawyer since 2003 and a certified tax adviser (Steuerberater) since 2008. He regularly speaks and is widely published in the fields of tax and investment regulatory law. He is co-editor of the commentary on the German Capital Investment Code (KAGB), published with C.H. Beck.

    Simon Brugger

    Manager, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2014 and is responsible for fund selection and monitoring.

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Brugger worked for several years in investment banking at Rabobank (Utrecht) and Rothschild (London), where he advised on M&A transactions across Europe in the consumer sector.

    Mr Brugger holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration and an M.Sc. in Accounting, Corporate Finance and Control from Bocconi University in Milan. Furthermore, he completed a semester abroad at the University of Washington in Seattle.

    Thomas Dassel

    IT Manager, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2011. He is responsible for the administration of the IT infrastructure and management of in-house IT projects.

    Mr Dassel has more than 20 years of professional experience in the field of information technology. Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Dassel worked in the fields of knowledge management and IT project management for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and Kraft Foods.

    Mr Dassel studied Industrial Engineering and Computer Science at the Technical University of Berlin.

    Clarence Decker

    Business Process Management Specialist, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2018. He is responsible for the further development of a company-wide process management system, as well as for analyzing and optimizing complex business processes.

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Decker worked for the IT consultancy PROCON IT AG as a change management consultant.

    Mr Decker holds a Master’s degree in Business Information Systems with majors in business process management and change management from the Otto Friedrich University in Bamberg.

    Thomas Deistler

    Associate, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2017. He is mainly responsible for the reporting and preparation of annual financial statements as well as for the portfolio analysis of the GCP funds.

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Deistler worked for three years in the financial services division at Ernst & Young and was focused on bank consulting. During his studies he also worked for Bayerische Landesbank in the financial markets division.

    Mr Deistler holds a degree in Business Administration from the Institute of Technology in Deggendorf with a main focus on Banking and Financial Management. He simultaneously completed an apprenticeship as a banker.

    Markus Dorsch

    Director and Co-Head Operations, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2011 and is responsible for designing the company's IT service environment. This includes IT infrastructure, business intelligence, application development and business process automation.

    Mr Dorsch has more than ten years of professional experience in information technology. His experiences range from freelance software development to several years of project experience in business intelligence consulting.

    Mr Dorsch holds a degree in Business Information Systems from Otto Friedrich University Bamberg.

    Lukas Eckhardt

    Risk Manager, joined Golding Capital Partners (Luxembourg) in 2018. He is responsible for risk management of fund of funds, monitoring of the investment process, risk assessment of the investment selection as well as valuation and monitoring of target investments.

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Eckhardt spent several years in Risk Management at Union Investment and in the Capital Markets department at the auditing company Ernst & Young. He focused on audits of mutual funds, capital management companies and private equity funds and gained additional experience in valuation and accounting.

    Mr Eckhardt holds a Bachelor degree in Economics with a focus on Investments, Finance and Accounting from Saarland University and a Master degree in Finance from Luxembourg School of Finance in cooperation with New York University (NYU) Stern School of Business.

    Thomas Fiebiger

    Senior Associate, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2016 and is responsible for institutional investors.

    Prior to this, Mr Fiebiger worked for a startup in Munich as a Business Development Manager and six years for Golding Capital Partners in sales management.

    Mr Fiebiger holds a degree in business administration from the Technical University of Dresden. Further, he completed a study exchange program at the University of Nantes in France. During his studies he worked for BNP Paribas (Paris) in the investment banking department as well as for Rödl & Partner in the M&A division.

    Daniel Frey

    Senior Associate, joined Golding Capital Partners in the structuring team in 2018. He is responsible for designing and developing financial mathematical models.

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Frey worked for over seven years in risk management with the insurance group “die Bayerische”. Most recently he was responsible for the calculation of technical provisions using stochastic valuation models in his actuarial function under Solvency II.

    Mr Frey holds a degree in Mathematics, specializing in financial and actuarial mathematics, from the University of Applied Sciences Regensburg and is a member of the German Association of Actuaries.

    Edouard Georges

    Managing Director, joined Golding Capital Partners (Luxembourg) in 2009. He is responsible for all regulatory and tax matters as well as for overseeing fund accounting, valuation, reporting and shareholder registers.

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, he managed the legal departments of two financial service and fund administration companies and held legal and managerial positions with two further companies. He started his career in the legal department of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.

    Mr Georges holds a bachelor and postgraduate diploma in law as well as the EFFAS Diploma in Portfolio Management and Financial Analysis issued by IFBL. He is a member of the Luxembourg Association of Portfolio Managers and Financial Analysts (ALGAFI).

    Thomas Hallinger

    Manager, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2015 and is responsible for the secondary market activity.

    Before joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Hallinger worked as an associate in Financial Sponsor Solutions at UniCredit Bank and as an analyst in Private Equity Fund of Funds at Ardian (former AXA Private Equity), where he completed several primary and secondary transactions.

    Mr Hallinger holds an M.Sc. in Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Further, he completed a study exchange program at Kyung Hee University in the Republic of Korea as well as the Masterclass of Private Equity at the Coller Institute of Private Equity at London Business School.

    Corinna Hammel

    Management Assistant, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2015.

    Ms Hammel has worked in the live entertainment sector for seven years focusing on the account management of concert promoters, theatres and sports clubs, event management and ticket distribution and marketing. Prior to her current position, Ms Hammel worked as a Client Account Manager and Assistant to the Managing Director in an international entertainment company.

    Ms Hammel holds a degree in German philology, English philology and sociology from Freie Universität Berlin.

    Christian Harz

    Director, joined Golding Capital Partners (Luxembourg) in 2012 and is responsible for portfolio analysis, reporting and preparation of annual financial statements for the funds of funds.

    Mr Harz spent four years in the audit group at PricewaterhouseCoopers Luxemburg, auditing mainly Banks and Private Equity Funds.

    He holds a Business degree from the University of Applied Sciences in Trier and is a CFA charterholder.

    Wolf Heselich

    Director, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2016. Mr Heselich is responsible for coordinating and managing in-house projects, the redesign of existing business processes and the development of business solution.

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Heselich worked for several years as an independent business consultant such as for Deutsche Private Equity and Golding Capital Partners. Before that, he worked in transaction advisory services at Ernst & Young with the focus on coordinating the “financial integration”. Mr Heselich actually started his career at Golding Capital Partners as financial analyst.

    Wolf Heselich graduated with honors from the University of Bayreuth and the Weber State University (USA) and holds a degree in Business Administration.

    Christian Hoff

    Senior Associate, joined Golding Capital Partners (Luxembourg) in 2015 and is responsible amongst others for portfolio analysis, reporting and preparation of annual financial statements for the funds of funds.

    Mr Hoff spent over four years in audit firms particularly with PricewaterhouseCoopers Luxemburg (PwC), auditing mainly Alternative Investments with focus on Private Equity Funds and Public Funds. There he gained experience in valuation and audit of financial statements according to German GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS.

    He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Applied Sciences in Saarbrücken where he studied Business Administration with focus on accounting und audit.

    Florian Hofer

    Senior Manager, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2018 and is responsible for Private Debt investments.

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Hofer worked for the credit fund of EQT Partners in London where he gained extensive experience in international private debt transactions. Prior to EQT he worked for the Leveraged Finance Team of Jefferies in London where he was involved in originating, structuring and arranging financings for leveraged buyouts and leveraged corporates. Mr Hofer started his career at the M&A Team of Jefferies in Frankfurt.

    Mr Hofer graduated from the University of Augsburg with a major in Finance and Law and holds a Master in Law with Honors (LL.M.) from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.

    Alice Huschenbett

    Ms Huschenbett holds a degree in International Hotel- and Tourism Management from the IUBH School of Business and Management in Bad Reichenhall. She also completed a Master's programme in European Business at ESCP Europe in Berlin and London.

    Hans Christian Kaiser

    Senior Associate, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2017 in the Structuring team. His main practice areas comprise the legal structuring and due diligence of investment structures and investment agreements – also with regard to banking and insurance supervisory law requirements.

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners Mr Kaiser worked for several years as a German qualified lawyer with KPMG Law in the areas of investment and banking supervisory law. The focus of his work was on providing advice to fund initiators and institutional investors with regard to the legal structuring of alternative investment funds and on the preparation of fund documentations. He was also involved with marketing approval and notification procedures as well as legal counselling on AIFM authorization procedures.

    Hans Christian Kaiser studied law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg (with a semester abroad in Halifax) and completed the supplementary course Business and Commercial Law at the University of Hamburg before his German legal training in Hamburg and New York. He is a German qualified lawyer since 2011. Prior to his studies, Mr Kaiser completed a vocational training in commercial shipping (liner services).

    Ms Kronz completed her banking apprenticeship and holds a business degree from the Rheinisch-Westfälischen Genossenschaftsakademie.

    Mr Lloyd was already part of the Finance & Operations team at Golding Capital Partners as a student intern. In addition he was able to gain international experience in the field of Structured Finance at Greensill Capital in New York City.

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr M’Bangui worked at the Real Estate Tax & Legal department of PricewaterhouseCoopers for several years. In addition to the tax- and regulatory structuring consultancy for real estate funds and -corporations, his focus was on the conduct of tax due diligence for national and international transactions.

    Mr M’Bangui studied law at the University of Regensburg with his focus on commercial-, corporate- and tax law. He has completed his legal clerkship in Regensburg and San Francisco and is a German qualified lawyer since 2012.

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Scherl worked for more than eight years in several positions for Private Equity Fund of Funds. Recently he was the head of fund of funds management and risk management at RWB PrivateCapital Emissionshaus AG.

    Mr Scherl holds a diploma in Business Administration from the Munich University of Applied Sciences and the Newcastle Business School with a main focus on bank, finance and investment management.     Mr Sommerhäuser worked over five years for the audit company PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was focused on auditing national and international industrial companies. He gained extensive experience in valuation questions and annual accounts operations according to HGB and international accounting standards as IFRS and US-GAAP. Prior to working at PwC he completed his apprenticeship as a banker at Deutsche Bank.

    Mr Sommerhäuser holds a diploma with honors in business economics from the University of Würzburg and is a qualified tax consultant since 2005.

    Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Tamburro worked for over six years at Commerz Finanz (a Joint Venture of BNP Paribas Personal Finance and Commerzbank) in risk management. As a quantitative risk analyst he was in charge of the risk-forecast modelling as well as monitoring and implementing the methodology for the quantification of credit risk provisions.

    Mr Tamburro obtained his Ph.D. in Physics at the Max Planck Institute in Heidelberg.

    Mr Tasi has more than five years of professional experience in IT. Prior to joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Tasi worked as a BI developer for a Microsoft Dynamics ERP Solution Vendor and was responsible for various reports and workflow processes. He also worked for a Retail Solutions Vendor and was responsible for the Data Warehouse, Data Processing and for the BI Reports.
