Dr Matthias Reicherter has been with Golding Capital Partners since 2011 and has served as Managing Partner, Chief Investment Officer (CIO), and member of the Executive Committee since 2020. On 1 August 2025, he handed over the CIO role to Daniel Boege and will focus on general (strategic) management duties until his departure in early 2026.
He has more than 20 years of international investment experience, which he gained at banks and investment companies as well as in his former responsibility for Golding’s infrastructure business. Prior to joining Golding, he was a Director at Barclays Private Equity / Infrastructure Funds in London and at DEPFA Bank plc in London and Dublin, where he was responsible for the acquisition, financing, and asset management of infrastructure companies across Europe and North America.
After studying economics at the University of Augsburg, Dr. Matthias Reicherter earned a doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) at the University of Greifswald with a dissertation on corporate valuation.
