Bernd Schumacher joined Golding Capital Partners in 2016. As Managing Director and Co-Head of Infrastructure, his remit is primarily focused on the identification, due diligence and selection of infrastructure fund investments and co-investments, in addition to the associated portfolio management activities.
Prior to joining Golding, Bernd spent eight years with Infracapital in London, where he was responsible for completing corporate acquisitions in the infrastructure segment and sat on the Supervisory Boards of numerous portfolio companies. Before this, Bernd worked for KPMG in London and Munich for a period of five years, where he assisted a series of international financial due diligences for private equity funds and industrial companies.
Bernd holds a degree from Stuttgart University of Cooperative Education (now integrated within Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW)) and was awarded an MBA from INSEAD in 2007. Bernd is also a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA).
