Golding Capital Partners announces the final closing of its »Private Debt Co-Investment 2021« fund having secured capital commitments of €165 million. For this successful continuation of the established private debt strategy in its ninth generation, there was a conscious focus on co-investments, which attracted interest across the board from both existing and new investors. The launch of a successor fund is planned for 2025.

Golding Capital Partners has announced the final closing of its Article 8 fund »Golding Buyout 2021« with capital commitments totalling €250 million. The successful continuation of the established buyout series in its fourth generation combines primaries, secondaries and co-investments and this strategy has convinced both German and international investors. In addition to numerous existing investors, Golding has brought on board new investors in the form of foundations, savings banks and family offices.

In the first closing, Golding Capital Partners has received capital commitments totalling €212 million for their »Golding Infrastructure Co-Investment 2023« fund, reaching over a third of the target volume. The third fund generation of their successful investment strategy was subscribed by insurance companies, pension schemes, pension funds, churches and savings banks.   

The »Golding Buyout Co-Investment 2023« fund continues Golding's proven buyout co-investment strategy. The portfolio build-up has been successfully launched and five companies with promising development have already been connected. The established Golding network and many years of expertise ensure a sustainable transaction pipeline with attractive opportunities.

The SuperReturn Private Credit Europe 2024 was held in March 2024 in London. Over 500 high-profile guests attended the event, including 170+ limited partners (LPs) and 200+ general partners (GPs).

At the conference, 80 speakers provided their perspectives on the performance of private credit, assessed macroeconomic trends and discussed new investment opportunities. Amongst the most important topics were secondaries, asset-backed lending, specialty finance and ESG.

The year 2023 in the buyout market began in a subdued mood. Deal flow was slow and realising investments in successful portfolio companies in this environment was challenging. But not for our portfolio fund Bregal Unternehmerkapital (BU). Even in the current market, the fund BU II was able to train a “dragon” in its portfolio.
