What has been your most defining moment over the past 15 years at Golding?

Over 15 years at Golding, many moments have stayed with me: painful setbacks, even greater successes in earning the trust of our investors, inspiring conversations with CEOs and fund managers – especially during challenging market phases – milestones in the development of my team and countless smaller Golding moments in between. And yes, I’d be lying if I said that being appointed CIO wasn’t a particularly special day.

What, in your view, forms the basis of good investment decisions?

Good investment decisions happen where critical thinking, intuition and a healthy degree of humility come together. The process starts with curiosity and ends with discipline: first, truly seeking to understand, then questioning rigorously and ultimately making decisions with conviction and consistency.

What stands out most about Golding from your perspective?

After 15 years, what still motivates me is the combination of familiarity and momentum. I know the company, its strengths and also its peculiarities. That’s exactly why I find the opportunity to actively shape the next chapter so compelling.

Congratulations on your anniversary, Daniel!
