Golding Private Debt Co-Investment 2021: Classified under SFDR Article 8

Golding’s Private Debt Co-Investment 2021 fund now also qualifies for Article 8 of the EU Sustainable Financial Disclosure Regulation.
Private Debt Co Artikel 8

This brings our private debt strategy into line with the sustainability focus of our other asset classes: all the co-investment strategies in the market at the moment are now classified as SFDR Article 8. Golding Infrastructure Co-Investment 2023 and Golding Buyout Co-Investment 2023, which both follow on from successful prior funds, have already achieved the »light green« Article 8 classification.

The private debt co-investment strategy not only looks at the sustainability performance of the portfolio companies, as measured by their clear positive contribution to the UN sustainable development goals (SDG), for example. Its environmental and social characteristics also inform the strategy’s credit-specific aspects, such as by making the terms of its lending dependent on the company’s performance against sustainability targets, in the form of ESG-linked or sustainability-linked loans.
