ESG transformation

Training is a key factor

Sustainability and environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors play a vital role in the financial industry. Institutional investors are increasingly rating the ESG performance of their asset managers. They are looking for asset managers who not only deliver returns, but sustainable values too. But simply being motivated to address these topics is not enough. To make a real impact, a systematic ESG framework has to be backed up by continuous training.
Barbara Phélippeau und Christian Schütz

In their article at the invitation of the Börsen-Zeitung, Barbara Phélippeau, Partner & Chief People & Culture Officer, and Christian Schütz, Managing Director & Head of Sustainable Investing, look at how professional training helps the ESG transformation to have dual impact; both on the company itself, and on its external partners and investments.

We documented our own activities in our first Sustainability Report 2022/23. It also describes how our internal Impact Task Force and initiatives like Women@Golding encourage diversity, sustainability and social responsibility, and so help to create a corporate culture that is both attractive and progressive.

Here you can read the full article in the Börsen-Zeitung for more insights into our ESG strategy and the role that training plays in achieving a sustainable transformation.
