Bernd Schumacher is Managing Director and Co-Head of Infrastructure at Golding Capital Partners. Together with his Co-Head, he is responsible for sourcing, assessing and selecting fund and co-investments, as well as the subsequent portfolio management. In addition, he plays a key role in fundraising for Golding’s infrastructure programmes and maintains regular dialogue with existing and prospective investors, as well as fund managers across the global infrastructure market.
Bernd Schumacher joined Golding in 2016. Prior to that, he spent eight years at Infracapital in London, where he led corporate acquisitions in the infrastructure sector and served on numerous boards of portfolio companies. Before that, he worked for five years at KPMG in London and Munich, advising on a wide range of international financial due diligences for private equity funds and industrial companies.
He holds a degree from the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (Duale Hochschule Stuttgart), earned an MBA from INSEAD in 2007, and is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA).
