Tim Ickenroth joined the sales team of Golding Capital Partners, one of Europe’s leading independent asset managers for alternative investments, as Director Institutional Clients in July this year. Ickenroth is an established financial expert with a broad network and many years of experience advising institutional investors, and will focus on supporting insurance companies in Germany. With Ickenroth's comprehensive expertise, especially in regulatory and accounting related matters, Golding is significantly intensifying its servicing of the insurance sector.
Tim Ickenroth has many years’ experience of advising institutional investors in German-speaking countries to his credit. Before starting work at Golding he was at the UniCredit Group and BNP Paribas, where he was responsible for advising German and Austrian insurance companies, as well as company and sector-based pension funds. A native of Cologne, he holds university degrees in Mathematical Finance and Actuarial Science, as well as in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
“Our aim is to get ever closer to our German investors and to keep refining our deep understanding of their requirements. With Tim Ickenroth we have been able to attract an experienced and expert adviser to insurance companies and pension funds, who brings with him a broad network and an extensive skill set in the field of capital investments. In the context of our expansion plans we are already looking to make further specific hires to optimise our client support and cover the increasingly complex regulatory environment for institutional investments”, explains Hubertus Theile-Ochel, Managing Partner at Golding.
“One of Golding’s key assets is their extensive understanding of the German market. Anyone seeking to offer flexible, customised products has to keep a close eye on the needs and wishes of investors at all times. I am delighted to be making a contribution to that as part of Wiebke Kuhne’s team, and especially to be developing tailor-made investment solutions in close consultation with investors”, says Tim Ickenroth, Director Institutional Clients at Golding.
